Who are the we?

The Union of Nations Societal Operation Services (UNSOS) was established on December 14, 2032 by the Union of Nations General Assembly. The agency is mandated to lead and co-ordinate international action to protect disaster refugees and resolve international conflicts worldwide. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees. It strives to ensure that everyone can find safe refuge away from disaster zones, and provide all the necessary requirments of survival.

In the last few years, the agency has helped an estimated 2.5 billion people relocate into safe refugee camps. Today, a staff of around 2 million people in more than 110 countries continues to help and provide security and accomodations to 1.25 billion refugees.

Mission Statement

"We will have time to reach the Global Goals – worldwide and in most, or even all, individual countries – but only if we break with business as usual.

We cannot win overnight. Success will require sustained action across the entire decade between now and the deadline. It takes time to train peace keepers, nurses and engineers; to build the roads, camps and hospitals; to fight the global spread of diseases and infections and provide the necessary vaxins and comprehensive research. So we must start now. And we must more than double global development assistance over the next few years. Nothing less will help to achieve our goals and maintain humanity."

Union of Nations Secretary-General
